During retreats, we offer a daily movement class. This deck is also perfect for dance, meditation, or breathwork practices which are offered as part of the retreat.

Our reception desk doubles as a smoothie and juice bar, where we prepare fresh delicious drinks and snacks for our guests. They can also make fresh juice for juice fasting options during your stay.

There is a beautiful 60 foot tall waterfall only a 20 minute walk from Pura Vida. This is a lovely walk complete with souvenir stands, a wander through town, and a refreshing dip in the falls.

Yelapa is a charming village a scenic 10 minute walk from Pura Vida with many interesting elements to explore.

Performances of an authentic Mexican style done by the high school students in Yelapa usually happen weekly, and can be organized for the group with prior notice.

There is a stunning waterfall with natural pools a leisurely 2 hour hike from Pura Vida where we can go as a group to enjoy the natural healing properties of the water and explore the surrounding jungle.

We can take a boat out to Mahajuitas with snorkel equipment to look out at the fish and other wildlife native to the area. Afterwards, we will go to a private and secluded white sand beach to relax and sunbathe.

Playa Isabel is a calm beach only a 5 minute walk from Pura Vida. Enjoy the natural bioluminescence of the ocean at night, come to read a book under the sun, or come and snorkel during your free time.

Visitors to Yelapa love the main beach where you can order a juice, relax, and people-watch. It is a 20 minute walk from Pura Vida through the pueblo and over the river.
